Editorial Team
Every entry on UnicoDream is written and edited in-house under the name the UnicoDream editorial team. This page explains who stands behind that name, what sources the entries are built from, and how an entry is judged ready to publish.
Why a team name rather than a personal byline
A dream dictionary is not one person's work. The readings collected here come from oral and printed traditions passed down over generations across the Indonesian archipelago. Signing them with an individual name would imply authorship over something that is held in common.
What we do claim is the compilation: the wording, the way symbols are grouped, the decisions about what merits its own entry, and the notes on how readings differ between regions. That is editorial work, and it is what this name stands for.
What the entries are built from
The primary material is interpretation that circulates widely in Indonesia — printed almanacs, primbon, and the readings people commonly recount. Because no single master text is agreed on by everyone, we never present one version as the only correct one. Where a reading holds only in a particular region, the entry says so.
How entries are researched and structured is described separately on How We Source.
When an entry is ready
Each entry must clear the same bar before it can appear in search results: a self-contained summary that stands on its own, an explanation of the context that changes the reading, and enough detail to be useful without opening another page. Entries that fall short remain reachable but are marked so they are not indexed — we would rather an unfinished page stay out of search than appear half-written.
Corrections from readers
This tradition is living and varies from place to place, so it is likely that versions exist which we have not recorded, or have recorded imprecisely. Corrections are genuinely welcome. Send them through our contact page, mention where the version you know comes from, and we will follow it up.
Every entry carries its publication or last-updated date, so you can see when the text was last touched.
The limits we hold to
UnicoDream documents a tradition. It is not a prediction tool and was never intended as one. We make no claim about outcomes and link to no betting service. The full statement is on our Disclaimer.
